Sometimes you get the best stuff exactly when you are not looking for it. I was not in any way planning to buy a khaddar kurti, that too from Levis! But see what I ended up with! This fresh sky blue kurti. I think I should do things unplanned from onwards!
New from my closet this week is this I bought this two weeks back from the Levis store when I went to buy a birthday present for Abbu. While I was getting my bill ready, I started browsing around the store for obvious reasons. Their store adjacent to Aladin has a small section of women’s clothing so I thought of skimming through the kurti rack. They had several floral prints, but I especially liked this plain, classy kurti. Also It’s been a while since I had a sky blue outfit in my wardrobe which made this purchase absolutely inevitable!
Nothing fancy! It’s a plain khaddar kurti with wooden buttons in the frontline lending a sophisticated finish to the outfit. Stitching is a starrer because it is absolutely neat and fine! I like wearing it with my favorite old skinny jeans, but I believe it looks equally tasteful with a white shalwar and a multi colored dupatta. For a rather chilled weather like nowadays, I prefer to pair it with jeans though. Who knew Levis could have such a perfectly chic Kurti! I am going to post my look of this Kurti in the coming week.
The original price of this shirt is PKR2200 but I got it at 30% off in sale. I think their sale is still up, you better check their website.
And in the future you will see me wearing this kurti as if I own just one outfit. That’s how I exploit my clothes! Which outfits are you obsessed with these days?
